St. John consists of two main areas: Cruz Bay and Coral Bay. Cruz Bay is the main commercial hub of St. John. This is where the passenger ferry and car barge dock. If you happen to arrive by passenger ferry you will arrive in Great Cruz Bay. I will never forget the first time I stepped off the ferry to St. John. I thought to myself "this is paradise". Beach bars and restaurants line the waterfront. After the hustle and bustle of St. Thomas I wasn't sure what to expect. But the small town feel of the island won my heart. A few places I recommend in Cruz Bay are Woody's and Quiet Mon Pub (Kenny Chesney is known to stop in here every once and a while!) But if you by chance get to see him... just remember that he is on vacation too!
