Condo Prices on the Fall

Published 25 June 09 08:43 AM

With on island housing prices falling to more reasonable levels, we are starting to see more and more condo owners take the leap from owning a condo to owning a house. This creates a floor on housing prices (median price $600k) which to some could be seen as a downside. The upside to this is that due to the rise in condos on the market, we are seeing prices become within reach of many buyers who would not be able to afford one of these before.

When searching St. Thomas Condos here are a few places great deals can be found:

Cowpet West - located next to the Yacht Club

Cowpet East - located near Yacht Club and Ritz

Anchorage - next door to Yacht Club - features tennis courts and pool

Mahogany Run - Units available at fairway village, tennis village, and ocean side views

Sapphire House - best deals at Sapphire can be found here

Please let me know if you have any questions about any available units on the market.

Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass' favor.

Zune and iPod: Most people compare the Zune to the Touch, but after seeing how slim and surprisingly small and light it is, I consider it to be a rather unique hybrid that combines qualities of both the Touch and the Nano. It's very colorful and lovely OLED screen is slightly smaller than the touch screen, but the player itself feels quite a bit smaller and lighter. It weighs about 2/3 as much, and is noticeably smaller in width and height, while being just a hair thicker.
